IndieRe – Les étudiants des BUT Infonum et Comm’ participent pour Radio Campus Tours !

Tout d’abord, c’est quoi, IndieRe ?

Projet financé par l’UE en partenariat avec des radios associatives en Slovénie, Autriche, Hongrie, France, Irlande, Espagne, Allemagne, Croatie, pour promouvoir les scènes musicales indépendantes.
Chaque semaine entre février 2023 et octobre 2024, une émission de 55 minutes sur la scène musicale locale, ainsi qu’une « featured song » (présentation d’un morceau d’un artiste local)

Sur Radio Campus Tours l’émission IndieRe est diffusée le vendredi de 22h à 23h, et la featured song le vendredi à 10h30.

IndieRe, c’est aussi des résidences de journalistes

En 2022, Melissa Wyckhuyse est partie en résidence à Radio Corax, en Allemagne à Halle.

Notre radio diffuse les émissions Indiere, et s’est engagée également à proposer des contenus. Pour sa première contribution, notre radio a proposé aux étudiants de l’IUT de Tours de réaliser une émission sur la scène locale, et en anglais !

BUT Infonum et Comm’ dans la place !

« Les étudiants sont partis à la découverte d’artistes de style éclectique qui font partie de l’offre musicale de la Touraine et aux alentours. Dans cette émission, vous allez pouvoir découvrir en entretien The Onirist, Ultra Light Blazer, Ymir, Toukan Toukan et Marine La Flèche. De plus, un petit bilan de la scène musicale locale est présenté avec ses conerts, ses festivals et ses écoles …

Le projet est proposé en langue anglaise pour sa diffusion dans le réseau IndieRe, programmée plus tard dans l’année. Ce réseau de radios associatifs pan-européen nous fait voyager autour de la musique locale grâce à des productions faites par les chaînes membres de l’antenne. Et vous ? Peut-être vous connaissez mal la scène tourangelle ?

Ce projet à visée aussi pédagogique pour les étudiants impliqués a été coordonnée par M. Jamie SMITH, enseignant en information communication et journalisme à l’IUT de Tours et à l’École publique de journalisme de Tours. »

For this episode of the IndieRE series, second-year students from the Information and Communication studies department at the University of Tours got together in partnership with Radio Campus Tours to bring you a roundup of some known and some lesser known artists from the Tours region in France. Better known for its wine and its châteaux, but did you also know that the region has quite a vibrant music scene? In this episode, listen into the interviews of local artists and discover the eclectic musical collection from electronic duo Toukan Toukanto jazz with integrated rap with Ultra Light Blazer, to street rapper Basstrick, switching to progressive rock group The Onirist and expirmental musicians Marine La Flècheon the drums and YMIR on the flute. And if that wasn’t enough, learn about the local music scene with its green festivals, alternative venues and music schools.

Featured song – Mélanie Loisel – Borgueful

Melanie loisel is a double bass player, her solo album "Horst" was released in Spring 2022 on labels the Pagans Records and La République des Granges. In this project, called Borguefül, the voice is used as an instrument, the vibrations of the voice and of the double bass seem woven together. Moreover, she sings in a regional language spoken by her grandmother : sounds and periods of time mingle to form narrative images
